Hello, my name is Anne Mandrachia, and I am the art teacher at Castle Hills for students in grades 1-5. From my webpage, you will learn my objective in teaching art, a beif view of what my students are learing, and what you, the parents can do to help motivate your children to be involved in art outside of my class.

*THE GOAL*

The goal of art education in our school is to guide students to exercise originality, experiment with new art processes and materials, and to enhance thier understanding of the core curriculum through thier art experiences.

*INSTRUCTION INCLUDES*

a variety of techniques and methods of art work with creating 2D and 3D art forms evaluation of their own creations and others the connection betweeen art and the core curriculum and other related areas guided discussions while interpreting the works of the great masters
