Tissue Paper Weavings
To begin a weaving unit, students famliarized themselves with looms by creating a simple weaving on a paper loom. Tissue paper strips were woven in and out of pipe cleaners. Students observed how patterns were formed while weaving. The paper looms were decorated at the end of the lesson.
