To Vote or Not to Vote…

Is There Really Any Question?

In the 8 Knights Social Studies class, students have been working hard on putting together a school wide Mock Election. Our goal is to learn about the voting process, research the issues of the candidates, and experience the election itself. Students have been diligently making posters to display around school encouraging participation. Students on the 8 Knights team will be travelling to other classrooms informing their peers about the election as well as working in the library to assist students through a “mock voting process”. The school district has opened up a web site that will be available October 25^th-27^th where students will go to record their votes. Once voting is complete students will compare the results of George Read voters with the general voting population across the United States.
