For the next tweleve week cycle, you will be coming to class to learn computer technology skills to prepare you to complete jobs at home, school and work. You will be asked to analyze, sythesize and evaluate different categories of information and produce a final product efficiently using computer technology.

You will be coming to the computer lab each day for seventy minutes. During this time you will have the opportunity to increase your knowledge of computer hardware and software. You will learn keyboarding. You will learn to use word processing, spreadsheets and data based programs. You will become familiar with desktop ppublishing and Power Point presentation. You will use the Interent to explore and research.

ONLY STUDENTS WITH SIGNED COLONIAL INTERNET AUTHORIZATION FORMS WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN INTERNET RELATED ACTIVITIES.

Your grade will be determined by your efforts in class:

50% of your grade is based on completion of class work and video units.
40% of your grade is determined by satisfactory completion of quiz's and tests.
10% of your grade is based on keyboarding effort and success.
