Beginning a New Marking Period

"Remove a Set of Scores" allows you to delete a set or sets of grades from your gradebook.

Select "Remove a Set of Scores" from the tool bar on top of the screen.

Check the box stating "Remove All Entries."

Click on the "Remove" button.

The next screen provides a warning, which indicates that this will remove all individual entries.

If you are saving the marking period average for your final report, make sure you check the box titled "Save Percentages for Final Report."

Once you have saved the percentages for the final report, the data is available for later use under the "Final Report" options found under the "Report" menu. To edit final percentages, select the "Alter" menu, and then choose "Change Historical Data." This will allow you to update final percentages from each marking period.

· to check this, go to 'Alter' on the top menu bar, and then choose
'Change Historical Data'
· you should see a line for each marking period that you have saved as Historical Data

Choose 'Reports' from the top menu bar, and then choose 'Class Final Reports.'

To set up the final report:
There should be five sets of data in the report - one for each marking
period, and one for the exam.
Change the weights for each marking period to 22
Change the weights for the exam to 12
This weights each marking period as 2/9 and the exam as 1/9 of
the final grade.

Then choose 'Print' to print a copy of your final grades.

Have a terrific summer!!
