Directions: If you choose to read a non-fiction text for your Reading Response Journal, you must answer all of the following questions to be turned in at the end of two weeks.

1. Explain what fact did you enjoyed learning most about? ( Use a specific fact from the text).

2. What information did you learn that you would like to share with someone else?

3. Would you like to read more books about this topic? Why or why not?

4. What pictures or illustrations did you find interesting. Describe them in detail and explain your answer.

5. Is this book like any other book that you have read? If so, how are they alike or not alike?

6. What kind of research do you think the author had to do in order to write the book? Why?

7. What questions would you want to ask the author if you ever met him/her? Explain.

8. Would the book be different if it had been written ten years ago? 100 years ago? Explain.
