Welcome to William Penn High School

Welcome to William Penn High School, home of the Fighting Colonials! We are a Learning Community of approximately 2000 students and 132 fulltime teaching staff.

William Penn High School offers a comprehensive academic program that is designed to meet a variety of student needs and interests. An outstanding student-centered staff of educators and support personnel delivers the curriculum using research-based best practices. Students are challenged at their appropriate level of achievement with advanced placement, honors, and general level of courses.

We have an extensive co-curricular program consisting of athletics, clubs, and musical activities which supplements the academic program and provides learning opportunities outside of the classroom. A typical high school student takes a full academic schedule and is involved in several co-curricular activities. Involvement seems to be the key word to describe a William Penn student!
