Pilgrim for a Day
Congratulations to our Michael C. Ferguson Achievement Award Recipients Six WP students earned recognition by the Delaware Dept. of Education for their performance on the 2008 DSTP. This award is given to the highest scoring students in the state and each student recognized receives a scholarship. Congratulations to Connor Bohn, Amanda Espinal, Jeremy Mathis, Mavis Owusu, Ashley Richardson, and Antonio Robinson. Senior Class Cosmic Bowling On November 20th, the Senior Class Committee invites the rest of the Class of 2010 for a night of fun at the Blue Hen Lanes (Main St., Newark) from midnight - 2 am. Cost is $12 if you've paid your dues and $15 if you haven't. This includes shoes. Tickets may be purchased from a senior class committee member during lunch or in room S202, before or after school. THIS IS A SENIOR ONLY EVENT! US Senate Youth Leadership Conference Nominee Named Congratulations to Miss Kaitlyn (Nikki) Laws for being named as the 2009-10 US Senate Youth Leadership Conference Nominee for WPHS. Jefferson Scholars Foundation Program The University of Virginia is looking for candidates for the Jefferson Scholars Foundation Program. The University seeks to find high school seniors who possess exceptional ability in leadership , scholarship and show promise of making a significant contribution to the University community.
