Directions: Please address each section of the cube in order to present your piece of low tech exercise equipment .

1. List, or name 2 upper

body, 2 lower body

and 2 core exercises of

your choice that can be

performed using a Bosu Ball

 

4. Chart, diagram, or draw an

illustration to

show how to perform the

exercises you chose. A

computer may be used to

assist you.

2. Explain, define or write

instructional steps as to how

to perform each exercise that

you chose.

5. Prescribe, or suggest the # of

repetitions, and/or sets that

should be performed for best

results based on your

research. Address any safety

issues that are important to

perform the exercises you

chose.

 

3. Design, produce or develop a

logical sequence of the 6

exercises you chose. What

would be an efficient transition

from exercise to exercise?

Cardio or overload may be a

consideration.

6. Support or provide an

opinion as to the effectiveness

of your piece of equipment in

developing upper, lower, and

core body strength. Please

take into consideration all

members of your group.

 

 

Steps for Project:

 

1. Pre-Assessment of the group's strengths and weaknesses in regard to your assigned piece of fitness equipment (personal knowledge about equipment, or access to

someone who does have knowledge).

 

2. Discuss duties and responsibilities within your group. Determine the group leaders,researchers, presenters, and designers.

 

3. Determine a timeline for completing the assignment.

 

4. Determine how you will share your findings with larger groups. A handout is require, but for your presentation you may choose from any type of display, lesson, video,

chart, bulletin board, or live demonstration. If you have additional ideas please clear them with me first.

 

5. Begin working toward your finished product. If you are having difficulties of any kind please see me for assistance or resources if necessary.

 

6. Small group presentations – based on each squad's due date – preliminary handout is due.

 

7. Large group presentations – based on each squad's due date. Final group project is due after the large group presentation.

 

8. Complete the group assessment rubric for each of your group members.

 

9. Evaluate larger group presentations.

* You will have class time to work together.

* As stated in # 5 see me if there are any problems. DO NOT WAIT until the week your project is due to ask me for help!
