PRESENTATIONS 2007-2008

 1. Fall Sportsmanship was held on September 4, 2007

Our activity was titled “Hit your target! Don't be one…” Athleted threw darts in competition. We talked about how Penn could be viewed as a bullseye and others could be throwing their darts at us to try to get us to commit unsportsmanlike acts.As a target, athletes at Penn can set their goals high, practice hard, play hard, get good grades, pass the DSTP and obtain necessary credits for graduation.

We also received our 10 th DIAA sportsmanship banner. It was a great night. A dynasty in the making.

2. The Winter Sportsmanship Presentation was held on November 19 th , 1007

Our message for the Winter Sportsmanship Presentation was gratitute and attitude. Athletes were taught to be thankful for each other because Penn is thankful for them!. Cheerleaders got to judge cheers created by the winter teams which had to include these words: Penn, Sportsmanship, Leadership, Colonials. The message in the cheer had to pertain to our efforts to obtain our 11 th banner. The Girls' hoops won!

3. Spring Presentation   March 4, 2008

Our message came from John Wesley's quote, “ Do all the good you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as you ever can!!!”

Athletes had to complete words of wisdom by working as a team and filling in the missing blanks.
