My name is Charlotte Webb. I am a second grade teacher at Southern Elementary. I have been teaching in the Colonial School District for 12 years. In addition to teaching at Southern Elementary, I have taught at Delaware City Elementary School and Commodore MacDonough Elementary. I am actively involved in the New Castle County Advisory Board for the Investigations Math curriculum. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware in 1995, after spending time at home with my family. I completed my Master's degree from Coppin State College in December of 2001. I am married and have three fantastic children. They range in age from 13 to 23. I am also the stepmother to two wonderful "grown-up children" and grandmother to their four beautiful little ones.
My Mission: I will work to build a strong self-esteem in every child who enters my room by focusing on the strengths of each child and striving to improve the weaknesses. I respect every student. Each child will have the opportunity to build a thirst for knowledge while working in a productive, child-centered, academic environment.
