*For familes planning for the summer, the first day of the 2009-2010 school year for students will be Wednesday, August 19th. (El primer día de la escuela será 19 de Agosto)

*If you are planning on registering your child, especially for kindergarten, please do so as soon as possible. This helps in preparing for the start of the upcoming school year. Your child must be 5 years old before August 31 to be registered in kindergarten. For registration requirements, click here. (Para registrar a su niño en cualquier escuela en el Distrito Escolar Colonial, es necesario presentar la siguiente información: En Espanol)

*The Main Office is open during the summer from 8:00 - 4:00 Monday through Friday (except during July). The main office is closed on Fridays in July. (La oficina de la escuela está abierta de 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. lunes, martes, miércoles, jueves, y viernes. )

* School information, including dates, teachers, schedules, and classroom assignments, will be sent home in early August. If your address has changed since the beginning of last year, please contact us to update your residence information so that school materials arrive at your current location. *Parents: To view information about your child's teacher, you can go to the DEEDS website at http://deeds.doe.k12.de.us/public/deeds_pc_findeducator.aspx Once you access this website, type the name of your child's teacher. This site lists the teacher's license and certificate(s), degree(s) with major and minor, teaching position and teacher quality.
